Theodore C. York

Ted serves as Managing Principal and Portfolio Manager at Argonautica Private Wealth Management, Inc.®. He also maintains corporate responsibilities as our President. Ted co-leads efforts and co-owns Argonautica Private Wealth Management, Inc.® with his business partner Frank Rambusch.

He started working in the financial services industry in 1992 and has accumulated over 25 years of experience in various senior investment roles at major Wall Street firms, including considerable time at Salomon Smith Barney CitiGroup and Wells Fargo Advisors. Ted has spent most of his career working as an investment analyst, financial advisor, and portfolio investment manager working with our private clients on a range of complex wealth management situations. He has dedicated his career to the pursuit of developing and delivering boutique-style client solutions complemented by the resources of beneficial strategic partners. Ted directs and guides the practice regarding all client tactical investment recommendations and executions. He remains, as always, client and team-focused helping clients manage the full impact of their wealth across generations.

Ted graduated from Babson College in Wellesley, MA in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science with distinction in Quantitative Methods and Marketing. He played four years of Club Rugby at Babson and earned Back Captain in 1991. He lives in Hopkinton and Barnstable Village, MA, with his wife Heather, son Landon, daughter Lillian, and rescue dogs Lulu and Bosley. Ted spends his free time skiing in New England, playing soccer, golfing, and tennis, as well as traveling and exploring with his family and friends. He has enjoyed coaching soccer at various levels connected to his children and their teams and volunteering for Sudbury Valley Trustees, a land protection Trust and non-profit organization over the past decade.
